Ingersoll IN1717OR Bison No.74 Automatic 44mm 10 ATM

Bought the Black/Orange Ingersoll Bison 74 watch Dec 19 as I liked the aesthetic appearance. The watch looks even better with a steel shark mesh strap.
Unfortunately I had disappointment in other areas.
New to buying watches i thought this was a chrono watch. My mistake for not reading clearly. The watch has a year dial, 24 hour dial and a month dial.
Delivery was exceptionally quick, however the watch arrived faulty, though I did not know of the fault at first. The watch wasn't keeping accurate time when I wasn't wearing it. The fault was that the rotor was loose, and thus I guess not self winding correctly. The watch was returned and repaired, though repair took 6 weeks to complete, which was disappointing for me as I'd only had the watch around 4 weeks. Communication during repair could have been better. I am still unhappy with the watches time keeping and power reserve. Maybe it's a limitation of the Calibre 520 movement, I do not know. My more recent Seiko automatic purchase is far better in this regard, that has a Seiko 4r36 movement. But... I really do like the look of the Bison 74 watch, and despite only being a couple of mm bigger in diameter to my Seiko, the difference in size does seem greater, and I like big watches. Now I thought there was no lume on this watch, as it turns our there is, but I have to blast a torch into it to see the lume. Not a great lume, and I do wonder. Has the lume faded? What I learned from the manufacturer when I contacted them was that the watch has not been manufactured for over 5 years, I guess that is evident from the fact that the year dial has years from 2016 to 2027. Maybe that's why the watch is heavily discounted compared with other sites,
So despite some of my disappointments, this is an automatic watch. It looks good, and its competitively priced. Through purchasing this watch, and it's initial fault, I have learnt alot more about watches than I would have it everything had run smoothly, would you know, the day changes at around 3:30 am, I would have expected it to be just after 24:00. After further research I learnt that is correct for this watch. I hope this helps someone deciding on their purchase.

Note: There is no lume on this watch, something I would have hoped there was. The day changes at around 3:30 am which I learned is correct for this watch. So despite the watch not being everything I had hoped for, I have learned much from this purchase.

Good quality watch. I love the Nato strap also the clear backside.
