The history of the Japanese watch manufacturer Seiko is full of surprises. When the 22-year-old Kintaro Hattori opened a shop for the sale and repair of watches in 1881, one could not yet guess which innovations would follow. For example, the world's first GPS solar watch: Seiko Astron. This watch is wonderfully suitable for globetrotters, because it reliably shows you the right time, no matter where you are. Every day, the Seiko Astron connects to four or more GPS satellites around the world to determine the exact position of the clock and thus the correct time.
