ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION Please help to keep our environment clean. Especially in connection with the disposal of batteries, compliance with the legal regulations is essential for you as a consumer in terms of a pure ecological conscience. BOLK e-commerce GmbH participates in various return name systems to meet this responsibility.
In connection with the sale of batteries or accumulators or with the delivery of watches or other devices that contain batteries or accumulators, we are obliged to inform you of the following in accordance with the Battery Ordinance:
Batteries or rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste.
You are legally obliged to return used batteries or rechargeable batteries as a final consumer.
You can return batteries or accumulators free of charge after use at the point of sale or in their immediate vicinity (for example at municipal collection points or in the trade). You can also send batteries back to us by post. Batteries or accumulators that contain harmful substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out dustbin. The chemical name of the pollutant is located near this garbage can symbol. Cd stands for cadmium, Pb for lead and Hg for mercury.
BOLK e-commerce GmbH participates in the Common Reverse Battery Name System. This means that you can send us normal household quantities of batteries and we will forward them to the GRS Foundation for disposal and recycling. Of course, you can also send batteries to the system at your local disposal company. Return points can often be found in municipalities, supermarkets and discounters as well as electrical specialist stores.
As the first distributor of electrical appliances (small household appliances) BOLK e-commerce GmbH is subject to the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act. A contract has been concluded with Remondis Elektrorecycling GmbH in D-44536 Lünen for the take-back, recycling and disposal of used electrical appliances.
