What is a chronograph?

Chronographs measure best times.

Chronographs are characterized by the fact that they always contain an additional element for timekeeping, such as a dial that enables independent, precise timekeeping.

Because of this additionally built-in stopwatch, chronographs are a valued accessory for athletes and anyone who needs a measuring instrument to keep an eye on best times, running times, preparation times or similar.

Timekeeping: Start / Stop / Reset

Chronographs have pushbuttons directly on the case that start a time measurement. These pushbuttons are sufficiently large so that the function can be accessed easily.

Dials & Scales

The technically complex appearance that chronographs are characterized by due to the additional dials and large case/chronograph pushers makes this type of watch masculine-looking pieces of jewelry.

Installed clockworks

The movements built into chronographs are often mechanical. Quartz movements are also used. If you like something really unusual, you can even find chronographs with digital displays.
